SSC GD Exam Date 2026
The SSC GD exam date 2026 was originally 23 February 2026. SSC postponed it on 17 February 2026 via an official notice.
- Exam is not cancelled. It is postponed.
- SSC will auto-allot exam dates, shifts, and centres to all candidates.
- City Intimation Slip will be released 8–10 days before the new date.
- Admit Card will be released 2–3 days before the exam.
- Revised date will be announced on ssc.gov.in.

SSC GD Selection Process
- Computer-Based Examination (CBE)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) — qualifying only
- Physical Standard Test (PST) — qualifying only
- Medical Examination (DME) + Document Verification (DV)
Final merit is based only on CBE marks. PET and PST carry no marks.

General Intelligence & Reasoning: Analogies, coding-decoding, number series, non-verbal reasoning, syllogism, arithmetical reasoning.
General Knowledge & Awareness: Current events, history, geography, Indian polity, Constitution, science.
Elementary Mathematics: Number system, percentages, ratio, profit/loss, interest, time/distance, mensuration.
English / Hindi: Error spotting, fill in the blanks, synonyms, antonyms, idioms, comprehension.
